Wow. This is basically the scientific version of Super Size Me.

It is interesting to note her extrapolation of 8 pounds per year of weight gain, as that seems to line up with most people I know of 8-10 pounds per year after age 30 or so.

Why on earth people publish Word documents is beyond me, if the purpose is not for collaborative editing. Anybody could change it and pass it on! Fewer people have the ability to edit a PDF.

Microsoft Word now has the ability to edit PDFs, so I don't think they provide any additional assurances any more.

I agree I prefer PDF.

I admire someone who puts their own body on the line in the interest of science. Now I hope she's tracking how long it takes to recover. That would also be helpful. On Hyperlipid we've had lengthy discussions about how long it takes to purge excess PUFAs from adipocytes.
