Ep. 20: Are Seed Oils a Problem?—with Jacob Hands (Ep. 19 Excerpt)
Not enough of a good thing...
Introduction
Dr. Brian Kerley, my co-host (although not on this episode) requested that I break out the seed oil discussion that Jacob and I had in episode 19. I had been thinking this would be a good idea as well, as it was a bit out of place in that episode, although I am glad Jacob wanted to discuss it.
So if you have already listened to ep. 19, this will be redundant. We’ll have a new episode out soon.
If you haven’t listened to ep. 19, then this was a discussion that Jacob requested we have about some weaknesses that he perceived in the idea that seed oils are causal in chronic disease.
Unfortunately, we only touched the tip of the iceberg, but he brought up a number of excellent points, which are well worth discussing.
Enjoy!

Seems a very interesting discussion. Unfortunately I have logistics issues relating to podcasts.
Can we have a transcript or at least a summary of the key points?
Excellent. I was wondering about the evidence about a threshold for linoleic acid which is way below the typical level in industrial diets. I am trying to convince my older son to radically avoid omega 6 (we learned recently that he has two copies of APOE4).
