Ep. 25: Is Mikhail Shchepinov "Breaking The Chains of Aging"?
It's well-known that lipid peroxidation is involved in aging and longevity. But what can we do about it? And is there any evidence that deuterium is a problem?
Introduction
It’s well-known that lipid peroxidation is involved in aging and longevity. But what can we do about it? Dr. Shchepinov has been researching using deuterium to ‘shore up’ the PUFAs like those in seed oils to prevent them become toxic metabolites. He’s had some interesting successes, and we discuss at length his new book: “Breaking the Chains of Aging”
